Authorization and bonds
We are authorized by DIAN and hold the required compliance bonds to move goods under national and international customs transit (DTA and DTAI), for import and export cargo.
What does it involve?
To keep international freight efficient, we have people and resources at the Ipiales, Cúcuta and Paraguachón borders to coordinate import and export paperwork and keep every party informed.
Customs
Customs is a government office, and a fiscal authority, located at strategic points: coasts, borders and international cargo terminals such as airports or rail terminals. It controls foreign trade, records goods imported and exported, and collects the taxes set by law.
Border
A border is the agreed line that marks the edge of a state. It may be physical, with walls or fences, but not always. Countries agree where their limits end; crossing that line means entering the neighboring country.
